Robbie and Joe were married on June 25 with a perfect wedding at the Boathouse in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
Sometimes, the perfect plan comes together and a beautiful day in the park turns into a truly spectacular wedding. That’s exactly what happened for Joe and Robbie. Joe and Robbie acted as event planners for their wedding and aggressively created an amazing agenda for the day. Jammed into the schedule was a day filled with fun from a Carousel ride at the famous Prospect park carousel to a sparkler exit. All this planning was in a hope that they would have their perfect dream wedding. A wedding where everyone would feel loved and welcome. A wedding where they could share their love for each other with their closest family and friends. A wedding where little moments like a carousel ride would someday mean the world to them. Well, they managed to pull it off, and their wedding will go down as one of my all-time favorites.
There are so many moments I love that it’s hard to point out my favorite. From the start of the day with Joe and Robbie helping each other get dressed, I knew the day would be perfect. I loved the Carousel ride, the ceremony with that perfect backdrop, and I loved the sparkler exit. Throughout the day, moment after moment came together in the most flawless way – as it should for such a wonderful and loving couple.
I photographed Robbie’s brother’s wedding a few years ago and I fell in love with his family. I’m sad to say that Joe and Robbie’s siblings are all married because I don’t know when I’ll see them again. I’ll miss them!
Joe and Robbie, thank you for hiring me. I loved every minute of your wedding.
