Megan and Dan were married on a beautiful summer day with a ceremony and reception at the Bourne Mansion.
Dan grew up across the street from my wife, so I was thrilled when they called me to meet with them about their wedding. Dan’s parents had invited us to have our rehearsal dinner at their house when my wife and I were married, and that gesture of kindness has stuck with me since then—I’ll never forget it, and I’ll always appreciate Dan’s wonderful family.
When I first met Megan, I understood why she and Dan have such a close connection. She shares his strong family values—and she is filled with laughter and happiness. It’s easy to fall in love with Megan, because she is smart and sweet and always smiling.
My favorite images from the day have to be the ones from the ceremony itself. Even with the spectacular beauty of the historic Bourne Mansion, these two were filled with such joy that they outshone everything else.
I asked Megan to tell me a little about her wedding planning experience, and this sentence sums it up entirely: “Having all of your family and friends in one place to celebrate your love, commitment, and new life together is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Soak it up!”
Thank you, Megan & Dan, for hiring me. I’ll always remember to “soak it up,” especially when it comes to enjoying the memories of your wedding moments.
