Fox Hollow Wedding Photos | Kathleen + Michael

We had another great wedding in 2010 at the Fox Hollow of Woodbury.  Michael and Kathleen had recently been through some difficult times and I knew their wedding day would be filled with emotion.  The second that I greeted Kathleen for her getting ready photos, I could see that she was determined to fill her wedding day with strength, resolve and most of all, LOVE.  For the ceremony, Michael and Kathleen exchanged vows describing their love for each other and it was by far the loveliest exchange of vows that I’ve ever heard.  These two people know exactly why they love each other and they revealed their love eloquently.  I hope that you feel these photos do this couple justice for what I believe was a beautiful and remarkable wedding.  PLUS the picture of a grumpy kid waiting for the ceremony to end – sorry I couldn’t help myself.

Lochmoor Country Club Wedding Photos | Lindsey and Nick

Lindsey and Nick’s wedding at Lochmoor Country Club in Grosse Pointe had all the right details!  The day started, continued, and ended in Grosse Pointe which is fitting considering this is where the beautiful bride grew up.  The ceremony at the Grosse Pointe Acadamie Chapel couldn’t have been more perfect.  I always love shooting there!   Their traditional Catholic ceremony lasted an hour at which point we moved on to the lovely grounds to shoot portraits and candid photos.  Lindsey and Nick were so natural in front of the camera that it made my job a breeze.  When we arrived at the reception at Lochmoor Country Club, I was absolutely amazed by all the details.  Everything was perfect from start to finish!

Dan,

Just a quick note to thank you again for the superb job you did for us on Saturday, and to once again let you know how much we appreciated your flexibility with the schedule change.  It was a truly beautiful, special and memorable day for our family.  We are so incredibly pleased that you captured it for us…don’t ever let us question including photography again!!  While we of course haven’t yet seen the pictures, knowing your work, we cannot wait to review these photographs.  For a rather large event, the day seemed entirely intimate and certainly highly emotional and we just know that the pictures will reflect that.  Personally, we’re also so looking forward to seeing the details (for example, neither Brian nor I had a bite of food and didn’t even see the dessert table – LOL).  We were enjoying our hosting duties and enjoying our precious gift from God, Eden Hope.  I’ll say it again, don’t ever let us question including photography again!!

P.S.  I gave a number of my friends your information as I can’t tell you how many compliments and inquiries we received on Eden’s photos (as well as her Christmas card, etc.).

Thank you again!

Wedding Photos at The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow | Katie + Matt

This beach wedding was incredible!  Katie and Matt were so amazing to be around.  A few weeks before the wedding we did some engagement shots at  Caumsett State Park and we had such a great time.  I was pretty sure the wedding would be a blast and it was.  Katie had all her bridesmaids to the house as they got ready and they all set the tone for the day – which was “relax and enjoy it all”!  When we got to The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow and Matt was waiting to see his bride.  Listen I could go on and on – check out the photos and you’ll see what I mean when I say this wedding was perfect! I hope you enjoy the photography.

Wedding Photos at Timber Point Country Club | Krista + Ryan

Ryan proposed to Krista almost a year ago on the docks of the East Islip Marina. Our first meeting was in a little coffee shop (I do have a studio) in Islip which was the perfect place for a relaxing and casual discussion about their wedding plans.  Ryan and Krista live in the same town as I do, so I knew that we must have crossed paths at some point.  Oh boy did we – turns out that Ryan’s parents were guest at my wedding, which was also held at Timber Point.  Small world.  We hit it off immediately – there are some people in this world that you just like to hang out with and Krista and Ryan are those people.  They were married at St. Patricks of Bay Shore and the love they have for each other was evident the moment Krista started down the isle.  I hope you enjoy the photography and check out the other link for the slideshow.

EJ Autism Hoodie Event

This is a passion for me and Dan.  We STRONGLY believe in giving back to our community and we are glad to help the EJ Autism Foundation by donating our time, effort and photography to a very worthy cause.

I was luckly to be asked to capture the teachers of our district working with some amazing children.  The EJ Autism Foundation showed this video at their HOODIE 2010 fundraser, of which, the purpose was to raise money to purchase iPads for the school district’s special needs students.  An iPad gives a voice to the voiceless and they are used to supplement and enhance the education of the children. Give the video about 30 seconds before the music starts and please support the EJ Autism Foundation

Thank you – John Lennon and Dan Lennon
