We were so fortunate to be able to photograph Marianne and Brian’s wedding at Northville Hills Golf Club in Northville, Michigan. You can see from the photos how perfect they are for each other. I loved all the interesting details at this wedding as well. Marianne actually made her tossing bouquet out of money and lottery tickets!!! Talk about a fun wedding!

Wedding at Long Island Mansions
Dan and Christine are simply put the most laid back couple that I’ve met. They both have this real casual outlook on life that is contagious. At our initial meeting, Dan told me that he loved photography. He even emailed me a few pictures that I critiqued for him. I admit that was a bit risky, because what if he didn’t like the critique? Well that was not a problem given his demeanor and his photos were actually really good! Christine and Dan had decided that they wanted wedding photographs at Chelsea Mansion, so I set up the Reveal and we had a blast taking pictures at this beautiful mansion on the North Shore of Long Island. Take a look at Christine’s dress is amazing!
Jill and Bill made my job easy. All I had to do was follow them around. I hope you enjoy.
Who loves Long Island vineyards? I DO! Raphael’s Vineyard on the North Fork of Long Island is one of the coolest looking vineyards on the island. Not only do they get really cool sunsets in early November, but the wine cellar is amazing for getting the perfect wedding photo. Some photographers look past those metal vats, but I love the way they bring a modern look to the photographs. Of course, it helps that Tara and Shaun were up for anything. Shaun’s dad was a wedding photographer for 25 years, so when they hired Lennon Photo I totally felt the pressure and at the same time I was flattered. BTW: His dad rocked and told me a few wild wedding stories! Congratulations Tara and Shaun – I had a blast.
We had another great wedding in 2010 at the Fox Hollow of Woodbury. Michael and Kathleen had recently been through some difficult times and I knew their wedding day would be filled with emotion. The second that I greeted Kathleen for her getting ready photos, I could see that she was determined to fill her wedding day with strength, resolve and most of all, LOVE. For the ceremony, Michael and Kathleen exchanged vows describing their love for each other and it was by far the loveliest exchange of vows that I’ve ever heard. These two people know exactly why they love each other and they revealed their love eloquently. I hope that you feel these photos do this couple justice for what I believe was a beautiful and remarkable wedding. PLUS the picture of a grumpy kid waiting for the ceremony to end – sorry I couldn’t help myself.
Lindsey and Nick’s wedding at Lochmoor Country Club in Grosse Pointe had all the right details! The day started, continued, and ended in Grosse Pointe which is fitting considering this is where the beautiful bride grew up. The ceremony at the Grosse Pointe Acadamie Chapel couldn’t have been more perfect. I always love shooting there! Their traditional Catholic ceremony lasted an hour at which point we moved on to the lovely grounds to shoot portraits and candid photos. Lindsey and Nick were so natural in front of the camera that it made my job a breeze. When we arrived at the reception at Lochmoor Country Club, I was absolutely amazed by all the details. Everything was perfect from start to finish!
